if i was to stereotype the main target audience of this magazine it would be a "Hardcore" audience, so basically people who go to shows for mainly the energy.

Magazine layout

 The layout of my mag is very basic as i believe that a basic uncluttered layout is much more suitable for this genre as the main focus is on the featured bands and music instead of fancy layouts

 really basic contents page, all i want is a picture of a full band and the contents in a transparent box with few words briefly explaining about the featured artist and information

this is my main article, features a massive picture pull out and interview on the band and there recent sucess

Main target audience

my main audience is hardcore fans like the photo above, around the age of 18 who are mainly into bands such as Bring me the horizon and A day to remember

i will achieve this by maintaining an image of generic hardcore fans throughout the magazine

the colours i used are bright and vivid and attracts the reader to the article or front cover, my favourite is the bottom one in blue :)

My questionnaire for the title of my magazine

From my results i found that the majority found that hardsound was the best choice for a magazine. closely followed by crabcore magazine.

So my magazine will now be called Hardsound i want to have a distressed effect on the font for the front cover.

My outlined idea

My magazine will be called "Hardwaves" and is going to feature alternative/hardcore unsigned bands who need the advertising, to get more intrest in an attempt to allow more musicians to be noticed.

colour scheme will be white and blue. with a album design and posters shown on the front.
photos will be very much in your face with alot of energy and bright colours to attract the reader.

this will be completely alternative.
